An invigorating six hours of theatre told in two parts, brimming with over 100 different characters who – over the course of 200 years – experience violent, yet thrilling escapades that include family skirmishes, territorial gunfights, and run-ins with the law – all in an attempt to preserve and protect a portion of land in an impoverished section of eastern Kentucky. This great drama of Americana explores the fervor and passion that went into the making of this country. Beginning with the initial land purchase from Native Americans to the devastation of the land from coal mining two centuries later, experience the sweep of a show as turbulent, dynamic, and exhilarating as the country itself.
