Neighbourhood Watch Synopsis:
Things are not right on The Bluebell Hill Development. Theft, petty crime, vandalism – all the ills of modern suburban existence are on the increase. Newcomers Martin and his sister Hilda are the crime wave’s latest victims and resolve to take action. After all, the law of the land, all that’s right and proper, and even God himself, are surely on their side. But what starts out as a well-intentioned neighborhood watch scheme, soon develops into something altogether more sinister. Good Television Synopsis:
Good Television pulls back the curtain on modern television drama at its most extreme. Connie is an intervention counselor and producer on a reality television series which profiles people suffering from addiction. Against her better judgment, her superiors convince her to take on a special, risky case in the hopes of making a riveting, explosive episode. When Connie and her colleagues travel to South Carolina to interview a young meth addict and his family, Connie’s own demons resurface and the “explosive episode” threatens to blow up in her face.

Information: Open to Non-Equity performers. There is a stipend for performing in the show. Auditions will consist of readings from the script. A copy of the script will be available at the StageSource office.
